Commercial Interior Design - In Details
Material choices of commercial interior design
From the outset, we aimed to cultivate the space circulating the minimalism style, embracing the experience of sipping fine teas, as part of the commercial interior design.
The design includes clean lines, open spaces, and a restrained color palette. The store is dominant by white marble brick walls, for as long marbled-pattern has become a thing in minimalism.
Working along with the taste of our client, we decided to choose this inherently aesthetic-pleasing, well-structured material. This serves a sense of luxury, at least for a tea store. Unlike any other ones you might have known of. Not just about the look, but the core quality marble brick and pattern should contribute to the overall base of the space. It imparts to the understated ambiance. The choice of marble pattern goes beyond merely the walls, to other components such as tables, countertops, which consolidates the entire space into one cohesive block.
The tea bar appears as a smooth, stone countertop and a backdrop of open shelving displaying the finest tea selections in an organized. Our point of view for this is to highlighting the products and maintaining the neat and uncluttered look of the space.
Color palete used in commercial interior design
And there it is, dimmed gray tone, subtly incorporated into the interiors. The furniture, custom-designed for this project, blends seamlessly into the space with its sleek, unembellished forms. We opted for built-in seating to maximize floor space and maintain the open feel of the tea shop, ticking off the standards of a commercial interior design project.
Lighting strategy for commercial interior design
Regarding the role of lighting system and how we play with it. Actioned according to the situation of the private position of Sip Tea, as it doesn’t have much natural light to take advantage of.
We have come up with a strategized lighting system, broadcasting white yellow mixed light filled the room. That is one rule of lighting paired with marble patterned walls. Not too cold, not too warm, it must be a sensation of combining both of this into a lighting strategy. Well-calculated and must be executed under the eyes, minds and hands of leading experts. Sometimes, artficial yet modern lighting is necessary.
Branding factors in commercial interior design
To bring it up as a compelling and immaculate visual of Sip Tea, every decision is well-thought. We always have to offer back and forth discussion with clients of what to do and what not to do. Not just throwing anything white into one space and call it ‘minimalism’.
Tranquility, unclutterness, luxury,… all requires much more than white light patterns. Sip Tea appears to be a savor, unrushed backdrop for those who is down for a cup of fine tea or beverage.
For those who is interested in taking Instagrammable backdrop, it definitely delivers just right. We ensure that the brand ‘Sip Tea’ is visible but not too intrusive. The branding materials are incorporated into sophiscated details, like the etching on the counter tables. It can be said that this is a case where principles of minimalist style is exemplified.
